Let’s look at the big picture. For the last decade, I’ve worked with authors to cross the finish line with their manuscripts. There are many reasons a writer needs this level of examination of their work: 

• Forest for the trees. A new critical eye to work with you on solving structural issues, plot holes, or making your characters jump off the page. 
• You want an honest voice to ensure your manuscript is agent-submittable or publication-ready. 
• Your book is your baby – you want a partner to ensure you hold true to your vision while addressing hard-to-tackle challenges.

All issues will be addressed in detailed notes, and we’ll have a 90-minute meeting to discuss my report and your concerns. Unlike many who offer this kind of service, I’m in for the long haul. While you work through your final draft, I’ll be there to act as a sounding board and companion.

First Draft Coaching Program 

Writing a full-length book is an incredibly challenging feat, whether you’re a seasoned word warrior or a first-time author. My unique program will get you to those beautiful words “the end,” through one-to-one sessions to coach you through your first draft.

There is no magic length of time it takes to write a book, which is why I have structured my system this way. This is not a one-size-fits-all workshop process. Whether this takes 12 weeks or 12 months, we’ll get this done, and I’ll be with you every step of the way. 

For a standard-length manuscript, the program fee is $2500/£1900.

Chapter 1 Review 

Your first chapter is the most important part of your book. Writers can get stuck in what I call ‘First Draft Limbo,’ where the book’s beginning is repeatedly rewritten. This process can be exhausting, keeping you from moving further into the manuscript.

Take your last pass with me, where we’ll spend an hour not only talking about the chapter but also developing your next steps forward in your writing journey. After the conversation, you will receive written notes on my observations.
